Skip Hire in Jesmond
Jesmond is one of Newcastle's most sought-after residential areas — a dense mix of Victorian and Edwardian terraces, HMOs, apartment conversions, and family homes undergoing renovation. GRIDCO Waste Management serves the NE2 postcode with skip hire for homeowners, landlords, and contractors working across the area.
Jesmond's residential streets are busy and often require on-street skip placement. We handle permit applications through Newcastle City Council and advise on timescales — typically two to five working days — so you can plan your project start accordingly.
HMO & Landlord Refurbishments
Jesmond has a high density of HMOs and privately rented properties that regularly undergo refurbishment between tenants. We work with landlords and letting agents across NE2 to provide fast, flexible skip hire — including collection before new tenancies begin.
Where GRIDCO delivers around Jesmond
We deliver across all of Jesmond NE2, including Jesmond Vale, West Jesmond, and surrounding streets. Many Jesmond properties have no off-street parking or driveway, so on-street placement is the norm. We guide you through the permit process and time delivery to minimise any disruption to parking on your street.
Access and road placement in Jesmond
All sizes are available across NE2 for residential streets, driveways, and building sites. On-street permits are arranged where needed.
For a skip on a public road or pavement in Jesmond, permission from Newcastle City Council is normally required. GRIDCO confirms the proposed placement and applicable authority process before agreeing the delivery date. A skip kept entirely on private land normally does not need a highway permit.
