A practical alternative to leaving a skip on site
Man and van collections can suit garage clear-outs, bagged non-hazardous rubbish, small office clearances and agreed bulky items. The operator loads the waste within the agreed scope, rather than leaving a container for you to fill. Tell us whether items are outside, upstairs or spread through several rooms.
A vehicle's available volume is not its only limit. Heavy materials may reach the payload limit before the vehicle looks full. Send clear photographs and describe rubble, soil, books or other dense waste separately so the quote allows for the actual load.
Safe access and honest collection descriptions
List large items, narrow stairs, long carrying distances, restricted parking and any dismantling needed. The operator needs to decide on appropriate staffing and safe handling before attendance. Do not break hazardous or unknown items down to make them easier to carry.
Batteries, electrical appliances, paints, gas cylinders and upholstered seating may need separate arrangements. If waste changes after the quote, tell us before the visit. An unexpected specialist item or much larger pile can change the collection route or price.
Costs, timing and waste documentation
Price is based on the waste, weight, loading work, location and agreed disposal route. Photographs help, but they do not always reveal dense or concealed materials. We explain the quoted scope and confirm any material change before proceeding.
Preferred dates, including urgent requests, are subject to partner availability and acceptance. Every waste collection job gets a waste transfer note, and every commercial customer gets a monthly waste report every month. Check the operator's registration and retain the collection paperwork rather than relying on a cash receipt alone.
